Dear Fellow Congregants:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we invite you to the Congregation B’nai Jacob (CBJ) 2024 Annual Meeting, to be held in person in the CBJ Social Hall and also via Zoom.
Please join us June 19 at 7pm - it is your opportunity to participate in the growth, health, and vibrancy of our synagogue and CBJ community. Join family and friends as we plot a course for the next year of Jewish life in our community. Refreshments will also be served.
We are asking everyone to register to attend to ensure we have an accurate count and to know how many will be in person and on Zoom. Once you have registered, if you selected the Zoom option, you will receive the Zoom link in advance of the meeting. (Please note that you will not get the Zoom link unless you register.)
Your attendance is very important, preferably in person. Every CBJ member who is in "good standing" is entitled to attend and vote at our Annual Meeting. As a reminder, according to our Bylaws, 30 voting members of the Congregation are required for conducting Congregation meetings so you are needed!
At this Annual Meeting, we will reflect on the past 12 months, discuss plans for the coming year, vote on our Slate of Officers and Trustees, review our current financial report and vote on our proposed 2024-25 Budget. Plus, we have a raffle and 50/50 planned for which you must be in attendance in person to win.
As a reminder: In order to vote at the Annual Meeting, you must be a member in “good standing.” If you have not yet paid your dues for this year (2023-24), please do so. We look forward to seeing you at this important meeting. Please remember to register!
L’Shalom,
Mark J. Snow
President
