Are you on Facebook?

Did you know that the ladies at CBJ are starting a Majong Group on Monday nights? Everyone needs to join both the official CBJ page and the CBJ private group (search for Congregation B'nai Jacob Group to join) on Facebook.  Here you can find out many things that are going on and make suggestions to what you would like to see happen.

Food Distribution Program

CBJ has partnered with the Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) to create a network for delivering groceries to housebound people in Phoenixville one Sunday a month.

Thank you to everyone who helped with Tikkun Olam/Social Action projects throughout the year! We did so many mitzvot! CBJ can be proud that we:
· delivered hundreds of grocery boxes through our Food Distribution Project
· packed over 300 Breakfast Bags for Aid For Friends,
· donated 58 adult coats plus a box full of hats, gloves and scarves to Eagleville Hospital,
· donated 52 kids coats plus a big box of hats, gloves and scarves, 3 pairs of boots, a big bag of toys and $490 in gift cards to St. Mary's shelter in Phoenixville,
· donated toiletries and nonperishable food to PACS in Phoenixville,
· donated party supplies to a local shelter and
· cleaned up CBJ on Mitzvah Day!

We need summer drivers, so please let Ruth Yeiser know if you are interested in helping with this wonderful project and what months you are available. Summer delivery dates are June 10, July 15 and August 12.

Are you interested in helping create and run events for the Tikkun Olam/Social Action Committee? We are looking for a Co-Chair to help with brainstorming and organizing. Just a little time can help a lot with our mitzvot! Please email Amy Borla.
